PARENT PINS FOR LAUSD PORTAL
Legal Guardians may call the LAUSD Helpdesk/Family Hotline at (213) 443-1300 to request their Parent Portal PIN via Skype or Zoom only. LAUSD staff must ask the legal guardian to show their Identification (California ID, California Driver License, Consulate card, Passport) and validate identity by seeing the parent directly on the screen. This process is only in place during school closures related to COVID-19. The PIN CANNOT be provided by phone call.
GRAB AND GO FOOD CENTERS
Los Angeles Unified is providing meals for our families at 60 Grab and Go Food Centers located around the district. The centers are open 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday to Friday, and we are providing two meals for each person to take home. Local District Northwest Grab and Go Centers are: Chatsworth HS, Columbus MS, Kennedy HS, Mulholland MS, Porter MS, Sepulveda MS, and Sutter MS. I also want to encourage you to view the educational programming we are offering on the following television channels: PBS SoCal, KCET, and KLCS. There are age-appropriate shows and lessons which can be a supplement to any student’s learning plan. The shows may also provide an opportunity for you to share in the learning with your children.
Locations of the 60 centers and online educational resources can be found on the district’s website lausd.net.
