***** 5 stars

The thing that I liked about this book is this girl loves animals and thinks of getting a new puppy on her birthday. I also love animals and I want a puppy for my birthday. Also a fun fact about me is that I got bit by a German Shepherd and have a huge scar on my left hand with a broken finger, but I am still not really scared of dogs. I only get scared of them if they have a weird face with their mouth open.

Two people get an alert that they will somehow die today and in hopes of making their last day memorable, they go on an app called Last Friend to find each other. My favorite part is when Mateo and Rufus sang karaoke in front of the full club. I like how it shows that it’s never too late to change your life. The book is also very emotional how it goes from being happy to sad.

Amelia Gray is almost okay by Jessica Brody

5 stars

The main idea is that Amelia has to find out something she has never done before, she has to fit in. She has always been used to “life on the go” but she has to stay for the summer. Little does she know it’s a lot longer than one summer. My favorite part is when Amelia decided to keep a little mystery in the book, when her dad promised to get DNA testing for her dog (Biscotti) after the summer she decided not to open it. She liked the mystery. So did I.I love that this book has lots of twists and turns.

My favorite author is John Green and I was looking for one of his books and ran into this book. I decided to check it out and started reading it. I think this book does an amazing job at describing and picturing such realistic things. This book made me understand that you will never be able to fully understand what someone goes through.
